Scott Logan, MD

Scott Logan, MD, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist at Westmoreland Obstetrics and Gynecologic Associates, a leader in women’s health for more than three decades with offices on the North Shore of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff and Grayslake, Illinois.
Dr. Logan has been living his passion for more than three decades. He is steadfast in his commitment to maximizing a woman's quality of life, beginning with adolescence through the childbearing years to menopause and beyond, by providing the highest quality patient care. For Dr. Logan, being a good doctor is not only about treating issues that may arise, but also preventing conditions before they happen.
Dr. Logan began his journey to his medical career as an undergraduate student at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, graduating with honors. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, also graduating with honors. He rounded out his postdoctoral training with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Washington University – Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
When Dr. Logan isn’t caring for his patients, he enjoys sports, golf, travel, and gardening, as well as spending time with his family.
